In June 2022, while working at a local dental clinic, Dr. Sushmitha faced a pivotal moment.
“My health was getting affected due to zero work-life balance, poor working conditions, and minimal salary in clinical practice,” she recalls.

Intrigued by the exciting opportunities in non-clinical roles, she decided to give it a chance. “Within just a couple of months, I landed two job offers,” Dr. Sushmitha shares, highlighting the rapid success of her pivot.
However, her journey wasn’t without its challenges. Her first role in the corporate world lasted only ten days before she realized it wasn’t the right fit.
Undeterred, Dr. Sushmitha continued her search, eventually securing a position as a medical advisor at a health tech company.
This role, which she held for 8-9 months, provided valuable experience and insights into the corporate healthcare world.
Dr. Sushmitha’s story is one of continuous growth and learning.
