Introduction

Dr. Anahita Deo is a Dentist-turned-Entrepreneur and Career Transition Strategist with over 4.5 years of experience in the non-clinical healthcare industry.

After completing her BDS from Manipal College of Dental Sciences in 2019, she began her career in clinical dentistry while preparing for NEET-MDS.

Despite qualifying, she chose not to pursue the traditional path, recognising early on that it did not align with the life she wanted to build.

With financial independence as a non-negotiable goal, she made the decision to explore alternative career paths within the healthcare ecosystem.

Her transition was not easy. With no clear roadmap available, she navigated the process independently by applying to hundreds of roles, facing repeated rejections, and continuously upskilling through free resources and real-world learning.

Dr. Anahita’s entry into the healthtech industry as a Business Development Associate opened doors to a completely new landscape of opportunities.

Over time, her career evolved from writing to editing, from editing to leadership, and eventually into growth and marketing roles, where she led teams and built scalable systems.

How Odigio Careers Was Founded

In 2021, while working as a Growth and Marketing Head, Dr. Anahita recognised a recurring problem: healthcare professionals lacked clarity, structure, and reliable guidance when trying to transition into non-clinical roles.

Having experienced this confusion herself, she started helping individuals on the side by sharing insights, strategies, and practical guidance.

What began as a small initiative quickly grew into Odigio Careers a structured platform designed to simplify career transitions for healthcare professionals.

Within a few years, Odigio evolved from a side project into a full-fledged career coaching platform, helping individuals navigate non-clinical opportunities with clarity and confidence.

To date, she has helped 300+ healthcare professionals secure non-clinical roles, many through strategic networking and referrals.
